About The Author

Chima U. Nwagu is an Entrepreneur, Biologist, and Environmentalist based in Lagos, Nigeria. He is dynamic, creative, innovative and efficient personnel that impacts positively in any environment he finds himself. He utilises every developed and undeveloped potentials in him to maximise output, thus making him industrious. He started his career as an entrepreneur long ago in 1996, when he was manually crushing stones for sale, bargain for block moulding contracts and had a micro provision store to caretaker for his personal needs and not dependent on his parents. As if that was not enough, he delved into photography and creative art in 1999, which helped to sustain him in his educational pursuit. He is excellent with Business development and contracts. 

Chima U. Nwagu holds a Bachelor of Science (B. Sc) degree in Combine Biological Science (majored in Botany/Zoology) from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and Masters of Environmental Management and Protection from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta. He is a trained member of Nigerian Institute of Management (MNIM), has undergone Project Management Professional training, Lead Auditors’ course OSHAS 18001, and Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) course with National Examination Board for Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH).

Chima U. Nwagu served as a Lecturer in College of Education, Gindiri, Mangu L. G. A., of Plateau  State where he simplified science to the understanding of everyone and as such improved performance and participation in sciences. He is an experienced Petroleum Inspector trained by Saybolt, worked with NKIKEM M & C Ltd, Swelt Base Ltd, Cineri Techniques Ltd, before flagging off his own company – SafeGate Inspection Services Ltd. He has played significant roles in developing and managing units and/or entire companies where he worked at the managerial positions.

He is so passionate about research, life, health, and environment. He has some research work to his credit which include, “THE USE OF GIANT AFRICAN SNAILS (Archachatina maginata) AND (Achatina folica) AS BIO-INDICATORS OF HEAVY METAL POLLUTION” and “Detergent; it’s uses and effect to health and Environment”. He spend some of his time with the less privileged and think more of how to save our environment from destruction. He is very technical in his thinking and practice. He is tenacious and perseverance in all his approach for business. He is a Judoka. He is a God fearing, honest and sincere being, happily married with children.
